Holy moly! Money goes into your pocket never can match the money being taken out to catch up the latest released gadgets. Keep waiting!

The current Nexus line are difficult to acquire. Unless one wants to pay a premium. Given one of the attractions of the Nexus 4 was its low price, it's value has diminished significantly now that it's the same price as an SIII.
I'd put off buying the SIII last year because the 2012 Nexus release was coming!
The more I think about the Nexus 4, the more I think about it's deficiencies. The first being its fragility.
We're now about 2-3 months since the 2012 Nexus devices were released. The market is moving quickly. I've waited this long, I may as well wait a bit longer till the next greatest device is released. Only this time I may pay more attention to Samsung's next device (with the expectation that I might just be able to buy it).
+Michael Poloni trust me. Rumours I spread have more credibility than the promises made by pollies ;-) For example, I was credited for the rumour that Apple is going to make 7 inches tablet. People thought I was on drug at the moment. But iPad mini becomes a fact two years later.
Anyway, if you could do more work, spend more time on tablet than desktop these is no point keep dumping more money in PC. Netbook is already claimed dead because of tablet device. PC, basically desktop PC, will be the next one.
+Michael Poloni Rumours Dell is negotiating with private fund. If success, Dell will disappear from NASDAQ stock market. Neither HP is better. A few big mistakes made by HP, e.g., discovered $5 billion worth of fraud in Autonomy's books very later stage, killed Palm WebOS, it destroyed Palm, the mobile company it acquired for $1.2 billion in 2010.
PC is dying. Sell all your PCs at home before they become worthless ...
+Terrence Miao You mean my PCs aren't already worthless? :-P
There's still an intrinsic value to me because I have a use for them. But you're right - other people will have no use or desire for my now-used equipment. That's partly how I acquired most of my computers in the first place! I currently only have 1 PC in use that I fully paid money for, the other 3 were acquired at no monetary cost because they had no remaining value to the original owners.

I just have to hope that my current phone (N900) lasts the journey!
And in the meantime, I am in strong need of a tablet. This decision is a little more difficult.
